Does it really matter if a baby tooth gets a cavity?

February 4, 2014

In honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month (February) we asked our hygienists:

Does it really matter if a baby tooth gets a cavity?

Christine: Yes. If not treated it can become infected and cause pain.  Baby teeth hold the position for permanent teeth and are important for speech and proper chewing.
