The 2013 National Dental Health Month theme is “Brush. Floss. Rinse. Chew.” which continues to encourage healthy habits for healthy living. What are some tips that patients can practice to have good, healthy habits (oral and overall).
Christine: I suggest flossing while watching TV. You get the chore done before you are too tired and fall asleep.
Gina: It’s good to chew gum with xylitol, especially if unable to brush immediately after eating. Many children and adults are not brushing their tongue regularly. Drinking water throughout the day is very good for our teeth and our bodies.
