Exciting news here at Aesthetic Dentistry by Design! Dr. Gasper has received extensive training through the Facial Beauty Institute as well as from expert Dr. Louis Malcmacher to perform both Botox and Juvederm injections. Now, he can help you achieve your dream smile and take years off of your face’s appearance in just a single appointment!
As a dentist, Dr. Gasper is very familiar with two crucial factors that affect performing treatments like Botox: the function of each muscle in the face and giving intra-oral injections. Dr. Gasper has the ability to deliver dermal fillers and Botox in a completely painless manner! It's one of the biggest advantages of getting these procedures done in the dental office. An intra-oral injection assures you that your procedure will be painless!
Dr. Gasper has also been trained in the oral and maxillofacial areas (chin to forehead) as much, or more than any other health care professional that is allowed to deliver Botox and dermal fillers. His knowledge of these areas of your face makes him the provider of choice for your Botox and dermal filler procedures.
When people first hear that they can get Botox/Juvederm at their dentist’s office, their mind usually becomes filled with questions. We’re more than happy to answer them so you can learn more about the benefits of these treatments as well as feel confident about getting them at Aesthetic Dentistry by Design.
Botox and Juvederm are quick, easy treatments that take care of wrinkles, giving you a more youthful appearance in just a matter of days.
Specifically, Botox can help you reduce the appearance of lines around your eyes and brow by preventing the muscle contractions that, over time, cause wrinkles to form. Juvederm, on the other hand, is a dermal filler derived from hyaluronic acid and works by actually filling specific lines, such as the lines around your mouth and nose, which are commonly referred to as parentheses lines. Dr. Gasper provides two types of Juvederm fillers:
Botox and Juvederm are FDA-approved for treating wrinkles. But as with any medical treatment, you could experience side effects. If you’re seriously considering either Botox orJuvederm, we invite you to talk with Dr. Gasper about your decision. He can answer any questions you might have about either and help you decide on a treatment that’s right for you.
Treatment with Botox/ Juvederm takes only a short time to complete. In fact, we could have you on your way again in as little as 10 minutes. That means you could drop by our Colorado Springs office for an appointment before work, during your lunch break, or on your way home. Treatment is fast and convenient.
How long your results may last will depend on which treatment you choose. A single Botox treatment can be expected to last for three to four months, while treatment with Juvederm XC can last between nine months and an entire year and Juvederm Voluma XC can last up to two years.
Actually, Botox also has benefits for patients who need to treat other problems, like TMJ dysfunction or migraine headaches. Please talk to our office if you’d like to know more about how Botox can help you treat either of these.
